A Stage is a collection of Measurements. Used to organise Measurements in the Worksheet, Quantities and Integration Tabs, example Stages include lighting, sanitary drainage and demolition.
New Stages vs. Linking from Worksheet
- Add a new Stage: Add a new Stage to the Project
This can be used on multiple Plans - Link from the Worksheet: Select an existing Stage from within the Project
To have one Project Total on Measurements across multiple Plans
Available Stages can be created on Plans or pre-listed in the Project from a Project Template
Add a New Stage
- Click + Add Stage
- Complete the required details
- Stage Name
e.g.: "Electrical", "Plumbing", "Security" - (optional) Description
Description of Stage - (optional) Multiply Quantities
Set a number to Multiply Quantities of all Measurements in the Stage
- Apply Template
- Blank Stage
Create a Stage with no Measurements - Apply Take-off Template
Select a Take-off Template, choosing Measurements to Quantify on this Stage - Copy from Stage
Choose Measurements from an existing Stage
Parts, Labour and Style Options will be copied however, the Stages will have separate Totals
- Blank Stage
- Click Create
Link from Worksheet
To create one Project Total on Measurements across multiple Plans.
- Click Link from the Worksheet
- Click to select the Stage/s
Click, hold and drag to select multiple Stages
(optional) Click Select All - (optional) Set a Multiplier(s)
Multiply the Quantities of all Measurements in this Stage
Set a number to Multiply Quantities of all Measurements within the Stage on the Plan by a different multiplier eg. 5 - Click Link Stage/s
Click Cancel to Cancel
Deleting a Measurement from a Linked Stage will remove the Measurement and all Totals from all Plans with the Linked Stage in the Project
This action is not reversible
Stage Multiplier
Set a Multiplier for the Quantities of all Measurements in a Stage. Multipliers can be set per Plan.
- Click Stage Multiplier
Located along the Stage name line - Enter the Multiplier
Multiply the Quantities of all Measurements in this Stage - (optional) Set Multiplier on each Plan
Multiply the Quantities of all Measurements in this Stage on the Plan by a different Multiplier eg x5
An asterisk next to multiplying number ( eg. x2) indicates that Plans linked to that Stage have different Multipliers per Plan - Click Save
Un-link a Stage from a Plan
Un-link to remove a Stage and all Measurement totals from a Plan without removing the Stage and Measurement totals from the entire Project.
Un-linking a Stage will remove all Measurements and totals from the Current Plan
This Action is not reversible
- Click Stage Action Menu
- Click Un-link from Plan
Un-linking a Stage will remove all Measurements and totals from the Current Plan
This will pre-select the Action Un-link this stage from the current Plan, Deletingx
items - (optional) switch Action
Delete this Stage from the Project, deletingx
items
Caution: This action is not reversible: Deleting a Stage will remove all Stage Measurement and all totals from all Plans in the Project. - Click Un-link Stage
If you have switched Action, click Delete Stage
To Cancel the Action click Cancel

Remove a Stage and all Measurement totals from the entire Project.
- Click Stage Action Menu
- Click Delete from Project

This will pre-select the Action Deleting this Stage from the Project, Deletingx

Plan/s - (optional) switch Action
Un-link this Stage from the current Plan, Deletingx
items
Un-linking a Stage will remove all Measurements and totals from the Current Plan - Click Delete Stage
If you have switched Action, click Unlink Stage
To Cancel the Action click Cancel
Deleting Measurements on a Stage
Remove a Measurement and totals from the entire Project
- Click Measurement Action Menu
- Click Delete
Remove a Measurement and totals from the entire Project
This will pre-select the Action Delete this Measurement from the Project, Deletingx
items fromx
Plan/s - (optional) switch Action
Keep this Measurement, and erasex
item/s from the current Plan
Keep Measurement, will remove the markups and the Measurement total from the Current Plan - Click Delete Measurement
If you have switched Action, click Erase from the Plan
To Cancel the Action click Cancel
Rearrange Stages
The order of Stages is edited in the Project Tab.
- (If required) Click to exit Full screen mode
- Click Project
- Click Stages
- Drag and drop the Stages into the new required order
This change will be applied to all Plans, the Worksheet, Quantities and Integration Tabs
FAQs
Can you use a Stage you added from another Plan to a new Plan?
A: Yes. Select Link from Worksheet when adding a Stage onto a new Plan.
If a second Stage has already been created, unfortunately, there is no ability to merge Stages. Using the Transfer function will allow Measurement totals to be Transferred from one Stage to another.
