How to select a Xero company on a Project

This is only necessary if Xero is configured for multiple company files.

Default Company

You can select the default Xero company file for your Projects and Takeoff Templates from your Xero Integration page.

  1. Click on the My Account menu on the top right;
  2. Click Setup;
  3. Click Integrations;
  4. Click the Manage button on the Xero tile;
  5. Select your Default Company from the options form.

New projects

When you create your project you will be asked to choose your relevant company and a default account which can be changed later when pushing your quantities into Xero.

Please note

When creating measurements: You will only be able to select items from the company file selected in the Groundplan Project Overview

Existing Projects

You can change the selected Xero company on an existing Groundplan project.

  1. Go to the Project Overview page inside a project;
  2. Scroll down and click the EDIT link next to the Xero Integration Settings title;
  3. You can then choose your new company from the drop-down list;
  4. Click the green Save changes button.
