Is there an app for Groundplan?
A: No, there is no app for Groundplan.
However, Groundplan is totally accessible in iPads and tables and is perfectly functional if you meet the necessary requirements.
How can I easily access Groundplan in iPads/Tablets?
A1: Bookmark Groundplan.
In your Google Chrome app, you can bookmark Groundplan easily access it whenever you open the app.
A2: Add a shortcut in your Android tablet's home screen
For Android tablets, you can use the Add to Homescreen option to create an icon in your homescreen which will directly open the page when you tap on it.
To do this:
- Tap on your Google Chrome app;
- Go to Groundplan's page by typing in my.groundplan.com in the address bar;
- Once the page is open, tap the options (an icon of three vertical dots “⋮” or sometimes , it's a stack of three horizontal lines “≡”) button;
- Tap on Add to Home screen;
- Tap on the Add button;
Go back to your home screen to check and test the icon.
A3: Add a shortcut in your iPad's home screen
For iPad/iOS users, use the Shortcuts app to create an icon which easily opens Groundplan in Chrome.
Here's how you do it:
- In your iPad, tap to open the Shortcuts app;
- Click the Create Shortcut tile;
- Search for "Chrome" in the search bar to show results for actions related to Google Chrome;
- Tap on Open URLs in Chrome;
- Tap on the Open URL text field and type in my.groundplan.com ;
- Tap on the done key;
- Tap the options button and tap to select Add to Home Screen;
- You can change the shortcut's icon so you can easily recognise it your home screen;
- Tap on Done, and your shortcut is now available in your homescreen;
You can now easily access Groundplan either by tapping on the icon, or by asking Siri to open it for you.
