Using Items and Bundles in Projects

How to find your Intuit QuickBooks Items and Bundles in Groundplan?

Once the Intuit QuickBooks connection is complete, you can now use Inventory items, non-inventory items and Bundles to count or measure on your plans.

1. Open a project
2. Click on the Plans tab
3. Click to open a plan
4. Add a stage
5. Click to add a new Measurement

Once you have selected a measurement type you will need to choose whether you are counting/measuring a One-off item, Intuit QuickBooks Item or Bundle

1. Once-Off Item: This is a great option if you don't have the items in your Intuit QuickBooks items or bundles that you wish to count/measure.
2. Intuit QuickBooks Items: This is where you can choose from your Inventory and non-inventory Intuit QuickBooks items.
3. Intuit QuickBooks Bundles: This is where you can choose from your Bundles in Intuit QuickBooks.

Intuit QuickBooks Item

1. Click onto the Item tab
2. Select the Category (Optional)
3. Enter at least 3 characters of the item name
4. Click the correct item from the list shown
5. Select from the Style options for this measurement
6. Click the Create button
7. Now simply start counting or measuring on your plan.

Intuit QuickBooksBundles

1. Click onto the Bundle tab
2. Enter at least 3 characters of the item name
3. Click the correct item from the list shown
4. Select from the Style options for this measurement
5. Click the Create button
6. Now simply start counting or measuring on your plan.

One-off Item

1. Click onto the Once-off Item tab
2. Enter Part No (Optional)
3. Enter a Description of the item name
4. Add Unit Cost
5. Adjust the Markup or Unit price
6. Select from the Style options for this measurement
7. Click the Create button
8. Once you have created the one-off item, simply start clicking to count/measure on your plan.
