How to push a quote to QuickBooks Online

Use Groundplan quantities to push to a QuickBooks quote.

Stage names from Groundplan appear in the description column of the Quote.

πŸ“ Notes

  • If you select Not applicable for the Tax code, you will need to add Tax codes to all lines in the QuickBooks quotes

  • Adding or updating an email address, will not add or update the email address for the customer card, only in the Quote created.

  • Adding or updating the Customer Address will not add or update the address for the customer card, only in the Quote created.

  1. Click the QuickBooks Tab

  2. Click Customer and begin typing the name and click to make a selection Customer must exist inside QuickBooks first

  3. Optional to enter:

    • Customer Address - If entered in QuickBooks, will pre-populate

    • Customer Email - If entered in QuickBooks, will pre-populate

    • Quote Number - If not entered, will remain blank in Quote to fill in inside QuickBooks

    • Expiry Date

    • Tax Code - to be selected

    • Memo - appears as a message in the Quote

  4. Options

  5. Click Update

  6. Click the Job Number to enter the Job
