Adding, viewing and resolving pins on plans

Keep up to date with changes on plans and pin comments.

The pin tool assists during take-off/design and construction phases of a project by pinning notes and/or images directly onto plans. Pins are created in real time, allowing collaboration across the project. Use them to clarify measurements, signify a defect or RFI details by adding additional notes or images from the site for yourself, other users, or even across Groundplan accounts.

Pins can be categorised according to their types.

Depending on the screen size, the location of buttons and functionality may be different from that in this article. Relocate the annotation bar by click, holding and dragging.

💡To add and view pins more easily, hide the stage sidebar to give more room on the editor.
